Pure nickel was affected by the macro, and rebounded. The inventory of stainless steel continued to decline Stainless steel inventories totaled 1,245,273 tons, down 2.47% from last week. Most of the reason for the destocking is that the arrival of steel mills has decreased, and the real demand has increased slowly. To sum up, the news of production cuts drives the price of stainless steel, but whether the production cuts can really be implemented remains to be verified. Demand has not been significantly boosted, suppressing the rebound of stainless steel. The cost of raw materials has stopped falling to support the price of stainless steel. As of March 24, the daily average price of spot 304/2B stainless steel flat plate 1.0*1219*2438 (tolerance 0.91) was 14,564.29 yuan/ton, down 1.26% from 14,750 yuan/ton at the beginning of the week, and down 23.83% year-on-year. The price trend of nickel and stainless steel is basically the same. Recently, the price of stainless steel and nickel has fallen, and the price of nickel has rebounded slightly. This week's stainless steel inventory totaled 1.3072 million tons, a decrease of 3.31% from last week, of which both cold-rolled and hot-rolled inventories fell. Since the cancellation of the price limit in South China Steel Mills on March 13, the prices of agents have been adjusted to the mainstream price in the market, and there is room for negotiation on real orders. Recently, the market has become more pessimistic, and the profit margins of the industrial chain have been squeezed from bottom to top.  Although there is a relatively obvious decrease in inventory, the overall market transaction is not good, and the price of raw materials has also dropped slightly, which has weakened the supporting effect on the price of finished products. In February, the price of stainless steel fell less than that of nickel. Apart from nickel, the upstream prices of stainless steel have all risen, while the price of stainless steel is relatively firm due to the impact of cost and production reduction of steel mills. In February, due to the slow start of work after the festival, stainless steel stocks continued to accumulate. As of the end of the month, the total stainless steel inventory was 1.4106 million tons.
